EECU named one of the best credit unions

EECU has been named as one of America's Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. It earned a five-star rating in the list, which is based on profitability, press coverage and customer reviews, according to a press release.

The credit union is one of 16 credit unions in Texas to receive a five-star rating.

"Regional banks and credit unions are the financial backbone of communities nationwide as they support small businesses, fund local projects and ensure easy access to essential banking services," Nancy Cooper, global editor in chief, Newsweek, said in the release. "We're proud to highlight companies utilizing a community- and customer-centric approach to make a big financial impact in their neighborhoods."
