Eastern Bank, Paramount partner to brand service plaza ATMs on Massachusetts roadways

The nation's oldest and largest mutual bank will expand its ATM footprint with 17 branded locations along Interstate 95 and Route 3.

Boston-based Eastern Bank has entered a branding and licensing agreement with Paramount Management Group that will provide the FI's customers with free access to ATMs along the Massachusetts Turnpike as well as portions of Interstate 95 and Route 3.

"We're always on the lookout for ways to make banking more convenient for our customers, so we jumped on the opportunity to sign this agreement with Paramount," said Joe Bartolotta, marketing director at Eastern Bank. "In addition to greater convenience for our customers, we will certainly benefit from the exposure this agreement provides."

Fourteen of the cash-dispensing ATMs are located at travel service plazas operated by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation; two are located at service plazas on Route 128/I-95; one is located at a service plaza on Route 3.

The agreement with Paramount Management Group gives Eastern Bank exclusive branding rights at each service plaza — including highway and plaza signs, ATM surrounds and custom screens.

"We are excited to partner with Eastern Bank," said Michael J. Tedesco, CMO at Paramount. "Our goal was to find the right bank that could provide travelers with the best financial resources that they need while on the road. Eastern Bank proved to be the best partner for this job, chiefly because of its commitment to a quality ATM experience for all."
