TORONTO -- M-commerce security solutions provider Diversinet Corp. (Nasdaq:DVNT), today announced a partnership with Fujitsu-ICL Systems Inc. According to Diversinet, the partnership extends, for the first time, secured real-time access to actionable information by mobile device users.
Diversinet will license its passport certificate server and passport authorization product to provide Fujitsu with certificate authorization functions for business-to-business services. Fujitsu will combine Diversinet's passport products with its system integration capabilities to provide customers with mobile security solutions.
Fujitsu will provide managed wireless certification authority with value-added, transaction-based services and specialized integration capabilities for its retail, financial services, telecommunications, travel/leisure and healthcare customers.
Diversinet will be an integral partner with Fujitsu in a partner-web conceived to facilitate its strategic entrance into the wireless delivery strategy. Fujitsu provides infrastructure services for end-to-end, bricks and clicks solutions from data warehousing and e-CRM to Web-enabled ATMs, POS systems and wireless, mobile solutions.
Diversinet will serve as Fujitsu's premier vendor and security provider for wireless-enabled transactions.
