Discover earns top spot for online savings account customer satisfaction

Discover earned the number one spot in customer satisfaction for its online savings account in J.D. Power's 2023 U.S. Direct Banking Satisfaction Survey. The account earned high marks for its lower fees, ease of usage, mobile app, website and customer service, according to a press release.

Discover's account offers a 3.75% APY and no minimum deposit requirements or monthly fees or insufficient funds fees.

"In today's economic environment, it is important to find a bank that you can trust to make your money work for you in an account that allows you to access your money when you need it," Ram Subramanian, VP of deposits at Discover, said in the release. "It is extremely rewarding to receive this recognition from our customers. Customer experience has always been at the center of all our decisions like offering highly competitive rates, charging no fees and providing excellent service."
