Digital currency company Bitt brings on CTO

Bitt, a digital currency management system provider for central bank digital currencies, has appointed Greg Prokter to serve as CTO. Prior to joining Bitt, Prokter served as VP of engineering at Stanford Credit Union, according to a press release.

In this role, Prokter will lead a team of engineers and developers to provider support for the company's CBDC deployments in 12 countries across Africa, Central America, Europe and the Caribbean.

"I am very proud to join Bitt at this time in the company's and the industry's development," Prokter said in the release. "I look forward to leveraging my experience and technology skills to deliver additional solutions to solve complex economic problems and to drive business value and growth."
