SYDNEY -- Diebold, Incorporated says that its CashSource Plus 200 (CSP200) ATM is now certified for use across the ATM network of St. George Bank, the fifth-largest bank in Australia.
According to a news release, St. George is interested in minimizing communications costs at non-branch locations with the CSP200, which uses a Visa II dial-up POS message format to authorize transactions. The CSP 200 can be configured to use one to four cassettes, which are capable of not only dispensing multiple cash denominations, but also coupons and other revenue-generating materials.
In accordance with Australian Payments Clearing Association (APCA) recommendations, any new ATM purchased after June 2002 must be Triple DES-capable. The CSP200 already meets those requirements, according to the release.
