NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Diebold Inc. has formed a strategic alliance with PCSC, a designer and manufacturer of access-control solutions. Under the agreement, Diebold will re-sell and support PCSC's access-control management products.
"Diebold is a notable company with a synergistic approach to the global security market," said Mas Kosaka, president at PCSC, in a news release. "Through this relationship, we feel PCSC and Diebold can grow our presence within the security industry."
Since 1983, Torrance, Calif.-based PCSC has provided card-access systems throughout the world and to major OEMs on a private label basis. PCSC is formerly known as Proprietary Controls Systems Corporation.
"PCSC is an innovative security company that can tailor solutions to a customer's specific needs," said Richard Baggot, vice president of electronic security and currency systems group at Diebold.
