Diebold Nixdorf integrates Microsoft 11 on ATMs

Diebold Nixdorf announced it has deployed the Microsoft Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 operation system with Eurasian Bank and Kapital Bank ATMs in Central Asia. Diebold's partner BS/2 will manage the software deployment in the region, according to a press release.
With this operating system, the ATMs will provide improve security, speed and regulatory compliance. It will be integrated with the DN Series ATMs, Vynamic Connection Points 7 and Vynamic Transaction Middleware.
'The successful implementation of Windows 11 with multiple customers reinforces Diebold Nixdorf's continued commitment to modernizing its core offerings and driving a competitive advantage for our global banking partners," Joe Meyrs, EVP of global banking at Diebold Nixdorf, said in the release. "As various regulatory compliance standards and requirements draw closer for financial institutions, we're proud to be at the forefront of innovation, security and reliability within the banking landscape."
