NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) has introduced Agilis Power, a new software development environment which it says will facilitate the creation of vendor- independent custom ATM applications through its Professional Services division.
Diebold Professional Services' project managers, technical trainers and systems engineers will support ATM deployers' development efforts and coordinate implementation, according to a news release.
Agilis Power employs Microsoft Windows and .NET Framework technology, which allows Diebold to use common software components across multiple systems and devices for greater consistency of design and ease of implementation. The Agilis Power architecture is built upon an INvolve middleware platform from Nexus, an open architecture that takes advantage of industry-standard technology.
