Diebold gets Wal-Mart award

NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Diebold, Incorporated(NYSE: DBD has been named Best ATM Partner by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

Diebold was chosen for the 3rd annual FINI (finance) Award for Best ATM Partner from more than 100 ATM providers. Among criteria used to select the recipient: service response; coordination with Wal-Mart stores and SAM'S Clubs; number of locations serviced and income generated. Diebold was also cited for serving a variety of Wal-Mart sites, regardless of location.

"Diebold has been very responsive to our needs and we appreciate their efforts in helping Wal-Mart offer an additional service for our customers," said Michael Cook, assistant treasurer for Wal-Mart.

Diebold provides service and maintenance for bank-branded ATMs located in Wal-Mart and SAM'S Clubs locations.
