Dev.co to accept cryptocurrency

Dev.co, a software development company, will now accept bitcoin and Ethereum as payment for services. The company joins businesses such as Overstock.com, Time Inc. and Expedia in this trend, according to a press release.

Dev.co will use Coinbase's Instant Exchange to convert any of the cryptocurrency into U.S. dollars, according to the release.

"We are excited to join the growing list of companies who are using digital currency as a medium of exchange for services rendered," Nate Nead, founder, Dev.co, said in the release. "Because several of our growing client projects involve direct development into distributed ledger technology (DLT), we thought it would only be fitting to begin collecting payment from clients in the form of ETH or BTC."
