CAPE TOWN, South Africa -- The deadlines are approaching for making nominations for both the ATM Industry Association's annual ATM Security Awards and ATM General Industry Awards.
The Security Awards, in the categories of ATM Security Best Practice, ATM Security Best Technology and Best Contribution to Promoting the Interests and Growth of the Industry in ATM Security, will be presented at the ATM Sec 3 show Oct. 13-14 in London.
Winners will be chosen by an international panel of independent experts and specialists. Individuals and companies may be nominated in all three categories.
The deadline is Sept. 12. Nominations of no fewer than 500 words, describing why the nominee is worthy of recognition, should be sent to ATMIA International Director Mike Lee at mike@atmia.com
The General Industry Awards will be presented at ATMIA's Conference West Oct. 27-30 in Indian Wells, Calif. Awards will be presented for: Best Practice ATM Deployment, with financial institution and ISO categories; Best ATM Technology, with through-the-wall and standalone categories; and Best Contribution to Promoting the Interests and Growth of the ATM Industry, recognizing both an individual and an organization.
Finalists will be selected by the executive and international boards of ATMIA, with the full membership choosing the winners.

The ATM Industry Association, founded in 1997, is a global non-profit trade association with over 10,500 members in 65 countries. The membership base covers the full range of this worldwide industry comprising over 2.2 million installed ATMs.
