Datacard Group, a provider of secure ID and card personalization solutions, today announced the availability of its latest secure central issuance product — the Datacard MX1100 card issuance system.
Designed specifically for mid-volume issuers, the MX1100 system helps FIs, government agencies and others take the step into centralized card issuance with minimal investment. The system is ideal for issuing highly secure national ID cards, driver’s licenses, healthcare cards, and credit, debit, prepaid and membership cards, providing quality, scalability and affordability, Datacard said.
“The MX1100 system is part of our proven platform of issuance systems,” said Dino Balafas, vice president of central issuance for Datacard Group. “It was specifically designed to give our customers the quality they need at an affordable price, making it easy, convenient and simple to bring the issuance process back into the hands of the financial institution or government agency.”
The MX1100 system can create up to 600 cards-per-hour and is offered in several fixed configurations with the flexibility to choose personalization and card delivery options to meet an organization’s needs. Features include smart card personalization, laser engraving and color and graphics printing, among others.
The MX1100 system integrates with the Datacard MXD Lite card delivery system and Datacard MXi envelope insertion system for a complete inline card-to-envelope solution.
