Sometimes, too much of a good thing can cause a problem.

Take for example, the story of a customer in Iowa, who requested a replacement debit card in December from Premier Member Credit Union based in Des Moines. The card arrived a few days later, and the customer considered the matter closed until he received another card and then another and another. Day after day the customer received replacement debit cards until he had collected a total of 64, according to a reporton Fox Business.

When the customer realized what was happening he immediately contacted the credit union to inform them of the error. The credit union representative explained to the customer that the card issuance was handled by a third party but she would relay the information. Still, the cards kept coming. The only difference between each card was the expiration date and the CVV. The customer's first card was set to expire in 12/24 and the last card received had an expiration date of 04/30.

The customer took to social media to share the humor of the situation and received 4,400 comments, including a few suggestions, as to what to do with the 63 cards he couldn't use. Suggestions ranged from "hang on to them in case you lose them 63 times," to "write numbers on the back and turn them into playing cards."

Since the story appeared on social media, the customer hasn't received any new cards.

Premier Credit Union is headquartered in Des Moines and is the 12th-largest credit union in the state of Iowa.
