Credit Union 24, the nation’s largest credit union-owned ATM and point-of-sale network, yesterday announced that it has signed an agreement with Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (FIS) for delivery of switch services for Credit Union 24’s participating credit unions.
"We have conducted an extensive analysis to evaluate the options for delivering even greater value and flexibility to our credit union-owned network considering market changes and the growing regulation of the financial environment," said Jim Park, president and CEO of Credit Union 24, which is based in Tallahassee, Fla. “It is clear that FIS’s switch capabilities are a good fit for Credit Union 24’s overall strategy of providing industry-leading payment products and services needed to navigate increasingly complex and competitive market.”
Credit Union 24 operates more than 100,000 ATMs nationwide, including the CU Here surcharge-free ATM network.
FIS, one of the world’s largest providers of banking and payment technologies, is based in Jacksonville, Fla.
