TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Credit Union 24 shareholders elected Edwin Collins, Chris Leggett and Larry Scott, all three credit union leaders, to serve on the credit union's board of directors. According to a news release, the three were installed June 28.
Collins, who is president and CFO of Lockheed Georgia Employees' FCU, was elected to another term; Leggett is president and chief executive of First Coast Community Credit Union; and Scott, president and CEO of Campus USA Credit Union, is a former board chairman who is returning to the board. Larry Jacobs and Mansel Guerry are leaving the board.
Collins has been a board member for the last three years. He also serves as chairman of the Georgia Credit Union League and sits on the board for CSI Inc., a Georgia credit union CUSO.
Leggett, before joining FCC Credit Union, served as national sales director for PSCU Financial Services and has solid experience in credit/debit and ATM processing.
And Scott, who is one of the original members of Credit Union 24, has previously served as Credit Union 24's chairman. Scott founded the Operations Committee of the Alert Network, introducing the first indirect-lending platform in Florida, and is a member of the Credit Union Executive Society.
Other board members include: Bob Fisher, president and CEO of MacDill FCU; Jane Watkins, president and CEO of Virginia Credit Union Inc.; Ray Cromer Jr., president and CEO of Envision Credit Union; Maria Garcia, senior vice president of Suncoast Schools FCU; Paul Simkins; and H.C. "Hank" Klein.
