Credit Union 24 announces new contracts, renewals

Credit Union 24, the nation’s largest credit-union ATM and point-of-sale network, announced that last year 28 credit unions joined the Tallahassee, Fla.-based network. The credit unions represent nearly $1.2 billion in assets and 185,000 members, Credit Union 24 officials said.

In the fourth quarter of 2010, eight credit unions joined Credit Union 24.

They are: Alexandria Municipal Employees Credit Union in Alexandria, La.; Ascension Credit Union in Gonzales, La.; Columbus Metro FCU in Columbus, Ohio; FASNY FCU in Albany, N.Y.; Menominee County FCU in Powers, Mich.; Southwest Financial FCU in Dallas, Texas; Summit FCU in Akron, Ohio; and Windward Community FCU in Kailua, Hawaii. The credit unions represent $476 million in assets with more than 69,000 members.

In addition, 65 credit unions renewed long-term contracts in 2010 with Credit Union 24. Those credit unions represent more than $7.1 billion in assets and more than 955,000 members. In the fourth quarter of 2010, 26 credit unions renewed agreements with Credit Union 24.
