Covergint inks acquisition of BranchServ, CustomVault

Convergint, a leader in financial security, has officially acquired CustomVault and its subsidiary BranchServ. CustomVault supplies vault solutions, while BranchServ offers security and automation equipment and services to financial institutions, according to a press release.

"We are elated to officially welcome colleagues and customers from BranchServ and CustomVault to our global platform," Ken Lochiatto, CEO of Convergint Technologies, said in the release. "This acquisition further accelerates our growth strategy across the financial industry, helping to service many of the largest branch networks across the U.S. Together we'll continue to operate as a people-centric company, fostering an inclusive, supportive culture and continuing to be our customers' best service provider."

As part of the acquisition, BranchServ has changed its name to BranchServ Convergint.
