Costa Coffee signs with i-design for ATM advertising
September 27, 2009
Costa Coffee in the United Kingdom has signed a deal with ATM-advertising provider i-design to advertise its handmade coffee production via ads on ATMs.
According to a news release from i-design, the campaign, which is running on part of i-design's atmAd national network, went live on Sept. 21 and promotes Costa Coffee's use of manual coffee grinders rather than mechanical push-button machines.
The ad, which is running at targeted sites in towns and cities across the U.K., is tailored to Costa Coffee's message that buttons are for ATMs, not for coffee machines. The campaign is part of a wider awareness campaign by Zenith Optimedia and includes print advertisments in the national daily press, as well as online advertisements.
