Compass Plus receives PCI DSS version 3.1 certification

An independent audit has confirmed that the Compass Plus Processing Center is fully compliant with the latest version of the global payments security standard.

Compass Plus, a provider of retail banking and e-payments software, has announced that its processing center has been recognized as fully compliant with PCI DSS version 3.1, the latest version of the industry security standard established by the major payment networks.

The audit procedure for PCI DSS compliance, developed by the PCI Security Standards Council, was performed by Trustwave Ltd., a qualified security assessor, Compass Plus said in a press release.

"At the beginning of 2016, we are proud to announce the certification of our processing center with the latest industry standards, once again staying ahead of the majority in terms of security compliance to ensure our customers have the best possible protection available in the payments space," said Compass Plus EVP Maria Nottingham.
