According to the Credit Union Times, Columbia Credit Union in Vancouver, Wash., a $777 million asset community credit union, has deployed multi-mode mobile banking with the mBanking platform from mFoundry of Larkspur, Calif.
The strategy offers the credit union's 65,000 mobile Web, text banking and apps for iPhones, Android and BlackBerry devices. Functionality includes balances, transaction history, transfers, bill pay and branch and ATM locators.
Columbia CU joins a client list of 425 financial institutions, including more than 150 credit unions, said mFoundry co-founder and CEO, Drew Sievers.
“We look forward to helping them continue to enhance the mobile banking experience for their members with features like mobile deposit or mobile alerts,” Sievers said.
