Glenwood Springs, Colo.-based Alpine Bank has expanded into a new market with a new branch model. The FI's recently opened location at Denver's Union Station features an open environment with advanced self-service terminals and collaborative work areas for customers and service representatives.
The bank, which holds $2.4 billion in assets, worked with Diebold Advisory Services to create a new design that facilitates customer interaction and streamlined transactions.
Customers manage their own cash and check deposits, balance inquiries, withdrawals and other transactions on Diebold Opteva 923 in-lobby teller terminals.
The FI also opted for the 228 Express Cash Recycler, virtually eliminating the teller drawer. The teller automation solution accepts, verifies, sorts and stores cash, then dispenses it for withdrawal transactions, minimizing cash counting and vault trips.
Alpine is using Diebold Inc. outsourced services to support the terminals, and plans to trial the company's Concierge Video Services in the future.
"Entering a new market with a more advanced service model is our opportunity to deliver a transformed branch experience to our customers," said Norm Franke, Alpine Bank regional president for the Denver region. "We'll be delivering a more innovative banking experience that is more efficient for our customers and our operations."
As a global technology leader and innovative services provider, Diebold Nixdorf delivers the solutions that enable financial institutions to improve efficiencies, protect assets and better serve consumers.
