Coinsource, a bitcoin ATM provider, has expanded into Alaska, its 44th U.S. state. It acquired an Alaska Money Transfer License from the Alaska Division of Banking and Securities to roll out its ATMs, according to a press release.
Coinsource is fully know-your-customer and anti-money laundering law compliant and currently holds 19 state licenses with more than 1,400 ATMs in the U.S.
"Our expansion into Alaska marks an incredible milestone and the next frontier in our mission to bring BTMs to every corner of the world," Sheffield Clark, founder and CEO, Coinsource, said in the release. "Coinsource is the largest fully AML/KYC compatible provider in America and, more importantly, holds significantly more licenses than any other BTM provider. As the only licensed provider in Alaska, our customers will know that we have minimized their financial risk. Bitcoin's impact and reach is growing, and with Coinsource it can grow securely."
