CoinFlip opens Chicago headquarters

CoinFlip, a cryptocurrency ATM provider, joined Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois to announce the opening of its 44,000-square foot headquarters in the old post office in downtown Chicago. With this new location, CoinFlip has more than doubled its office space and will hire on more employees, according to a press release.

The company qualified for an EDGE agreement from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, which supports investments and job creation in Illinois.

"Cryptocurrency is becoming more and more popular, and it's great to see Chicago will be home to the world's leading cryptocurrency ATM operator," Mattie Hunter, Democratic state senator in Chicago, said in the release. "Having CoinFlip's headquarters right here in the city will give a much-needed boost to our job market and economic future."
