Coinbase partners with Signature Bank for real-time settlement

Coinbase, a cryptocurrency company, is partnering with Signature Bank, based in New York, to integrate its exchange with the bank's Signet blockchain digital payments platform. With the integration, Coinbase customers can use Signet to fund and settle their accounts in real-time, according to a press release.

"Since its 2019 unveiling, our Signet payments platform has been adopted by a majority of the key players in the digital asset space settling with each other in real time," Joseph DePaolo, president and CEO at Signature Bank, said in the release. "Adding another vital member, such as Coinbase, to the Signet ecosystem only stands to further solidify Signature Bank's leadership position in the space."
