Coin Cloud hires kiosk industry veteran Michael Tomlinson

Coin Cloud, which operates digital currency kiosks in the U.S., has named retail kiosk veteran Michael Tomlinson as chief revenue officer, according to a press release.
Tomlinson will oversee retail relationships and the distribution of Coin Cloud, which recently surpassed 1,100 units worldwide.
Tomlinson has held executive positions at KeyMe, CoinStar, Redbox and ZoomSystems, and was responsible for growing those networks to over 60,000 machines.
"Michael's hiring will help make the transacting of digital currency as ubiquitous and seamless as renting a DVD or trading in loose change at your neighborhood supermarket," Chris McAlary, CEO of Coin Cloud, said in the release.
