CO-OP Financial Services expands agreement with Tennessee Credit Union League

April 12, 2011

CO-OP Financial Services will provide ATM-terminal driving for members of the Tennessee Credit Union League as part of an expanded agreement with the organization, which represents 240 credit unions throughout the Volunteer State.

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based CO-OP Financial Services also will provide ATM/PIN point-of-sale debit card processing and signature debit card processing for the Chattanooga-based group.

"Providing convenient access for members to their accounts is essential to the success of credit unions," said Geraldine Cardwell, executive vice president and chief financial officer of the league. "CO-OP network and shared-branching services provide that access. Now, we can offer credit unions three CO-OP payment processing services that will help them operate more efficiently, cost-effectively and offer an even better user experience at the ATM."

The league participates in CO-OP Network, which operates 28,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide, including 9,000 deposit-taking machines, for CO-OP credit union members.

The additional services expand a 15-year marketing partnership between CO-OP Financial Services and the Tennessee Credit Union League.
