CO-OP Financial Services said it was postponing its THINK 20 conference to Aug.17-20, citing health and safety concerns amid the growing coronavirus outbreak.
"We have been carefully monitoring the public health concerns surrounding the coronavirus outbreak," Todd Clark, president and CEO of CO-OP Financial Services, said in a company release. "After careful consideration with a number of our clients, board members and stakeholders, we have made the decision to postpone the THINK 20 conference and move the dates from May 4-7 to August 17-20 in Dallas."
The conference, scheduled for the Omni Dallas Hotel in Dallas, Texas, regularly attracts about 800 attendees. For those who can't make the event, they have until Aug. 1 to cancel and get a full refund.
Attendees will automatically be registered for the rescheduled conference as well as a one-day virtual conference scheduled for May, however, the specific date of that virtual event has not been announced.
