CMS launches 'Algo' AI-automated ATM security software

India-based CMS Info Systems has launched Algo, a fully-automated, artificial intelligence-powered ATM security software application

Algo provides an end-to-end security encrypted solution to prevent ATM fraud during cash replenishment or maintenance, a CMS spokesperson told the Siasat Daily. The application can operate on any ATM manufactured by any OEM.

CMS designed the system to reduce fraud, restrict access to data and premises and eliminate calls of theft to a financial institution's security company or call center.

"This application can run on any ATM across the world and helps in fraud prevention. The solution is cost-effective in the back-end and low cost in the front-end." Rajiv Kaul, CMS executive vice chairman, CEO, whole-time director, told the news outlet.

To date, the company has deployed Algo on 52,000 ATMs across India.
