Citizens intros program to offer employee early access to wages

Citizens recently introduced a solution to give employees on-demand access to earned pay, in addition to financial health tools. The solution funds the wages and then receives reimbursement during the traditional payroll cycle, according to a press release.

"Acquiring and retaining strong talent is more important than ever, and this program enables our clients to offer their employees a valuable benefit," Michael Cummins, head of treasury solutions, Citizens, said in the release. "This solution also offers employees tools that can help reduce their financial anxiety."

Businesses can deploy this solution for no additional cost, according to the release.
