Citizens Financial completes acquisition of JMP Group

Citizens Financial Group Inc., a financial institution headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, has completed its acquisition of JMP Group LLC, a capital markets firm that specializes in investment banking services, according to a press release.

JMP will act as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Citizens and will help strengthen Citizen's position as a corporate financial advisor, according to the release.
