Citibank equips ATMs in Seoul for won-dollar exchange

Citibank Korea Inc. has equipped two of its branches in Seoul with ATMs that allow account holders to exchange currency and deposit or withdraw money in either Korean won or U.S. dollars.

The new ATMs save customers a trip to the teller window, a report by Business Korea said.

Better yet, the automated solutions save customers money. Depending on account type, customers save 10 to 50 on the fees charged for traditional teller-assisted exchanges

Citibank Korea plans to install currency exchanging ATMs at additional branches in the future, the report said.
