Chicago businesses targeted by ATM theft spree

Multiple businesses in Chicago were targeted by criminals, who stole cash registers, ATMs and safes. In each incident, the group cut the power and removed the devices, according to a report by Fox 32 Chicago.

The group pried open the front or back doors after cutting the power and the electrical wires of video cameras and alarms. Three businesses were targeted in total.

Police warn businesses to keep perimeters well lit and to secure all windows and locks. The investigation is ongoing.
