Cheq Information Technology adds check-imager to product line

LAS VEGAS-Cheq Information Technology Inc. has announced the addition of the Cheq-IT 2000 XPress System to its successful range of check and multi-document distributed capture scanners.
"The Cheq-IT 2000 XPress System bridges the gap between the medium and large capture systems used by financial institutions and large corporate paper processors and the Cheq-IT Vermezzo Remote Image Capture Distributed System," said John V. Ashley, CEO of CIT Inc., in a release. "We believe this device could be used very efficiently in environments where lockbox processing is required during the day and check image POD required during the second shift. This would give the user maximum usage and significantly reduce their overall cost per item of processing. The 'C' arm track design not only gives it a small footprint (height 16 inches; length 35 inches and width 15 inches), but also makes operational use an easy task."
