Chase opens Community Center branch in Philadelphia

JPMorgan Chase has opened a Community Center branch in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the first in the city and the 15th nationwide. The location offers financial health workshops, mentorship programs, a living room area and Wi-Fi, according to a press release.

The center aims to provide a different banking experience, and offers one-on-one support to entrepreneurs and aims to help customers with budgeting, home ownership, credit and other financial topics.

"This is an incredibly important market for us," Jamie Dimon, CEO, JPMorgan Chase, said in the release. "As our company grows in this region, we're committed to providing greater economic opportunity for more residents, especially for underserved populations. We're bringing the best of our business to support more households and businesses, and strengthen the local economy."
