Chase, Amazon expand Visa card benefits

JPMorgan Chase and Amazon are adding benefits and features to their Visa card portfolio, which have been renamed to Prime Visa and Amazon Visa. Cardholders for Prime Visa and Amazon Visa now earn 5% and 3% back on purchases through Chase Travel respectively, according to a press release.

Both cards offer 2% cash back on local transit and commuting and cardholders can now earn rewards daily. Prime Visa users will earn 5% on Amazon purchases and Amazon Visa users will earn 3%.

In addition, new Prime Visa cardholders will receive a $150 Amazon gift card and can earn 5$ back on all purchases up to $2,500 for three months. Amazon Visa members will receive a $60 gift card and earn 3% back on all purchases up to $1,500 for three months.

"We're committed to providing customers value during their shopping experience, and we look forward to introducing more ways for customers to save and earn on Amazon."
