Finavia, the government-owned entity that operates Finland's 24 airports, has extended its contract with the London-based foreign exchange provider ChangeGroup.
As part of the new agreement, ChangeGroup will launch the first foreign currency ATMs at Helsinki Airport, with both landside and airside installations, a company news release said.
To be installed in 2015, the new foreign currency ATMs will give passengers the ability to exchange currency 24/7 at the airport. In addition, the service range at the airport will increase with ChangeGroup cash withdrawal machines.
Currency exchange is a particularly important service unit for Finland's Helsinki Airport, which is the leading transit airport in North Europe and an important hub for traffic between Europe and Asia.
