Cennox acquires UK-based ATM installer, security provider Acketts

Banking solutions provider Cennox has completed its acquisition of Acketts Group Ltd., a U.K.-based ATM installation and security business, for an undisclosed sum.

A press release from Cennox said that the acquisition continues to build on its position as a complete end-to-end service provider in the industry.

"Acketts have built an excellent business that shares many of the qualities that Cennox is passionately driven to provide our customers," Cennox CEO Clive Nation said in the release. "Cennox is committed to ensuring the deal will enable our teams to flourish during the seamless transition." 

The deal includes Acketts headquarters in Essex and all supporting infrastructure; the company's facilities and staff will join the Cennox Group with immediate effect.

"The enthusiasm from the Cennox team is catching and I feel genuinely excited about Acketts being part of a larger group," Acketts CEO Hilary Fearn said. "The increased breadth of services, together with the  knowledge and experience built up over the years will benefit the whole group, our staff and most importantly our customers with a great future to look forward to."

The Acketts deal follows Cennox 2017 acquisitions that included Diebold U.K. and Ireland, and the European division of 3SI Security Systems.
