Cecabank partners with Diebold Nixdorf to power self-service networks

Cecabank, a wholesale Spanish bank, has signed an outsourcing agreement with Diebold Nixdorf to produce an ATM-as-a-service solution. Through this partnership, Diebold Nixdorf will provide its DN Series ATMs alongside a financial app and Vynamic server software to power both self-service networks and remote ATM management to allow other financial institutions to outsource their self-service operations, according to a press release.

Cecabank provides point-of-sale and ATM acquiring and card payment processing technology. It also has cash depots throughout Spain that can respond to any ATM loading request. With this partnership, Cecabank will be able to expand its footprint to other countries and areas.

"This alliance allows Cecabank to reinforce its position as a specialist B2B provider of payment banking services, allowing financial institutions to delegate their ATM network in a comprehensive manner, with the peace of mind that they will have the highest standards of security and regulatory compliance," Juan Jose Gutierrez, corporate director of technology services, Cecabank, said in the release.
