Catalyst Corporate Federal Credit Union, a wholesale cooperative financial institution with more than 1,400 member credit unions in the U.S., has expanded its ATM capture service to include image-enabled ATMs on the NCR Corp. platform.
Georgia's Own Credit Union in Atlanta and Xplore Credit Union in Metairie, Louisiana, were the first credit unions to roll out the new service in late August, according to a news release from the Plano, Texas-based provider.
"Catalyst Corporate introduced ATM Capture in 2009 as part of its full suite of remote deposit services," said Brad Ganey, SVP and COO at Catalyst Corporate, in the release. "Initially serving credit unions with Diebold image-enabled ATMs, we are pleased to make this service available to another large segment of our membership that owns NCR ATMs."
The service captures images of deposited items at the ATM, and then verifies and transmits them in real-time to Catalyst Corporate for processing, clearing and collection. The decreased processing timeframes help CUs to increase operational efficiencies, reduce costs and shorten funds availability, the release said.
Powered by Bluepoint Solutions, ATM Capture interfaces with all other Catalyst Corporate remote deposit services to capture and consolidate all of a credit union's imaged deposit activity through a single administration channel.
