DALLAS -- CashWorks, Inc., a provider of technology solutions within the non-bank financial services industry, has established distributor relationships with two more ISOs, Montana-based ATM Express, Inc. and California-based National Link, Inc.
The ISOs will market CashWorks patent-pending PayPort, a proprietary point-of-sale terminal that allows merchants to offer a check-cashing program, to their retail customers. In the CashWorks program, authorization is provided at the PayPort and customers collect the funds at an existing ATM.
Ken Rees, president of CashWorks, said in a news release that the company's distributor partnerships are a "critical piece of our sales and service strategy."
CashWorks already operates at more than 400 retail locations across the United States.
The new distribution partnerships will help expand CashWorks' geographic reach to new areas of the western and central U.S.
"CashWorks technology adds functionality to our existing ATM service offering without expensive upgrades," said Neil Clark, national sales director of ATM Express, Inc., in the release. "We expect (CashWorks) to help us in our efforts to attract new merchants and
retain existing ones."
