Sidetrade, an artificial intelligence money collection platform, has launched CashTarget, a game feature to help collection teams stay positive when collecting unpaid invoices from companies returning to business following the pandemic.

Sidetrade's research, development and product teams brainstormed the concept for CashTarget when discussing strategies to keep collections teams motivated when having to handle account receivables, according to a company release.

The group turned to game theory techniques and integrated game features into CashTarget, to create fun and excitement for collection team members.
The user's dashboard is created to be visible to all teams to generate a healthy spirit of competition. Graphs and goals are posted on regular intervals and teams can track, allocate collections, and manage the progress of each individual or team.

"Everybody loves competition, so injecting a little fun into a cash collection application has a big impact on performance and user experience," Rob Harvey, global director of solutions consulting at Sidetrade said in the release. "CashTarget adds value to individuals and teams and gives employees greater visibility on their own actions. Who says cash collection can't be fun?"
