March 17, 2004

NEW YORK - Two thieves grabbed $90,000 in cash from an unattended Patriot Armored Car Service van parked outside a Brooklyn grocery store in broad daylight on March 16, according to a New York Post report.

According to the Post, three Patriot workers went into the Newkirk Avenue Grocery shop around midday to fix an ATM, leaving their van and the cash unattended.

While the trio was inside, two robbers smashed the window of the unarmored van and fled with three bags containing around $90,000, sources said.
