CASE STUDY: Home Bank Purchases GTI ATM to Help Extend ATM Services to its Smaller Branches.

Home Bank of Arkansas has installed three TTW-2000 ATMs, a through-the-wall model manufactured by GTI. John Stacker, the bank's president, says the low-cost machine is helping Home Bank extend ATM services to its smaller branches. 'We are extremely pleased and so are our customers,' he says.

Home Bank of Arkansas wished to expand their ATM delivery channel to smaller remote branches. As with many banks and credit unions, the anticipated transaction volumes would not support the cost of legacy ATM installations.

After investigating ATM suppliers, John Stacker, president of Home Bank of Arkansas, secured a low cost solution to fill the bank's needs, using the GTI (Greenlink Technologies, Inc.) TTW-2000 Thru-TheWall ATM.

"The GTI TTW-2000 Thru-The-Wall ATM has proven to be very reliable and with its cost being almost half of previous in-wall ATMs purchased, we can now extend our ATM services to our smaller branches," said Stacker. "We are extremely pleased and so are our customers."

Home Bank of Arkansas, which is headquartered in Greenbrier, Ark., has installed three of the GTI TTW-2000 ATMs. Shazam provides the transaction processing for the machines.

GTI's Thru-The-Wall and Drive-Up models offer the security and functionality required for locations that in the past could not be justified.

Danny Langston, GTI's sales director, said that the lower cost of ATM ownership offered by GTI's new line of exterior ATMs presents small to medium financial institutions with a business case similar to the one that allowed retailers to deploy large numbers of ATMs in the off-premises market.

GTI has provided its new TTW Series of Walk-Up and Drive-Up ATMs to financial and non-financial sites in all areas of the U.S. and Canada, as well as elsewhere around the world. TTW units were recently delivered to Kenya and to the second-largest credit union in Belize, according to Langston.

With new models in the design stage that will offer additional functionality, GTI believes this market is wide open to financial institutions wishing to extend their banking services.

GTI is a sister company of DSI, know to many financial institutions worldwide for its card issuing products.
