Carreker Corporation, Euronet complete licensing, distribution agreements

March 5, 2002

DALLAS -- Through a recently completed licensing agreement, Euronet Services Inc. (Nasdaq: EEFT), operator of the largest independent ATM network in Europe, will implement Carreker Corporation's (Nasdaq: CANI) eiManager™ software for fault and device monitoring as well as automated dispatch and escalation of ATM service requests. The Euronet ATM network includes more than 1,800 ATMs across Europe and another 455 in the United States.

Additionally, the agreement allows Euronet to distribute eiManager™ to its transaction management software customers worldwide.

"Through this agreement, Euronet will provide an advanced level of monitoring and dispatch services across its own ATM network, as well as providing this capability to financial organizations that run their own networks," said Royce Brown, Carreker executive vice president.

"Monitoring is one of the most critical processes associated with an ATM network," said Euronet Chairman and CEO Michael Brown.

"As ATM systems mature, banks and ATM networks must take advantage of technological solutions to increase efficiencies, profitability and market share," Carreker's Brown said. "Cost management and efficient resource allocation are vital to remaining competitive. eiManager™ allows our clients to manage their ATM systems effectively to enhance revenue now and in the future."
