Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union to offer non-sufficient funds solution

Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union has partnered with DoubleChecks Solutions to allow members to stop payments with non-sufficient funds from being declined. They can choose which payments to accept and which ones to return as well as add additional funds via a credit card or third-party payments service, according to a press release.

With this service, customers can avoid consequences of declined payments such as late fees and bad credit ratings. They can also prioritize important payments.

"DoubleCheck will help our members avoid the pain of cancelled services and late fees," Scott Weaver, CEO of CFFCU, said in the release. "Adding this important level of transparency to our portfolio is another way of providing support to those who need it most in the communities we serve."
