Cardtronics, Wegmans extend and expand ATM relationship

Under a renewed business agreement, ATMs at Wegmans Food Markets will join the Cardtronics-owned Allpoint Network.

Cardtronics Inc. and Wegmans Food Markets Inc. have renewed their service agreement covering 94 ATMs at the grocer's stores and also have expanded their relationship by adding the ATMs to the Cardtronics-owned Allpoint Network.

The new agreement offers Allpoint Network-eligible cardholders surcharge-free ATM access at Wegmans markets across Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, a Cardtronics press release said.

"Renewing our retailer relationships is always an indicator of success, with the value-added benefit in this instance being adding Wegmans to the roster of premier retailers that make our Allpoint Network the most convenient, most trusted surcharge-free ATM network," said David Dove, President of the North American Business Group at Cardtronics. "With Wegmans joining Allpoint, the best just got better."

Cardtronics has been the exclusive provider of ATM services to Wegmans since 2011.
