Cardtronics appoints industry veteran Robert Barone to board

Barone's industry experience includes more than 40 years of sales, marketing and executive leadership at organizations such as Diebold, NCR and the Electronic Funds Transfer Association (EFTA).  He formerly served as vice-chairman, president and chief operating officer at Diebold.  A founder and past chairman of the EFTA, Barone is now chairman emeritus of the industry organization.

"I'm looking forward to the challenge of helping the Cardtronics executive team increase the ATM deployments and network assets significantly in an effort to achieve a dominant position in the industry," Barone said.
