Cardknox announces mobile app, card reader

Cardknox, an omnichannel payment gateway provider, has introduced its Mobile App and ID Tech VP3300 card reader, along with a mobile software development kit to integrate its payment processing with third-party apps. The VP4400 is a three-in-one card reader that supports magstripe, EMV and NFC payments, according to a press release.

With these solutions, merchants can swipe, tap, dip or key-in payment information and capture and prefill card information through a phone's camera. The app itself provides a number of features including:

• Schedule and process recurring transactions.
• Securely store customer payment information.
• Built-in PCI DSS compliance.
• Refund, void or modify transactions with one click.
• Automatically send email receipts.

"We're excited to offer a mobile all-in-one point-of-sale solution that allows merchants to provide a frictionless checkout experience from their choice of device," Mark Paley, VP of sales, Cardknox, said in the release. "Not only does this solution make use of tech-forward hardware, but it's also built using Cardknox's innovative payment technology. Plus, it includes a unique set of payment management tools for merchants and developers."
