Car crashes into stolen ATM in Sacramento

A stolen ATM created a major traffic incident when a car crashed into it on a road in Sacramento, California. The driver who hit the ATM claim criminals stole the ATM from the back of a Safe Credit Union with a forklift, according to a report by KCRA 3.

The ATM was in the middle of the lane when it was hit by a car.

"Safe Credit Union is working with law enforcement on this situation," Micah Grant, spokesperson for the Safe Credit Union, told the news outlet. "Our members' security is our top priority and we take measures to ensure their account information is safe. We ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office."
